This wood engraving was on the title page of Beyond the West and depicts a steam locomotive passing through a Western landscape while workmen and Indians watch. In the background are tipis and mountains. The print is in excellent condition with no discoloration or other damage. It is on medium-weight paper, and is blank on the reverse.
