Burial of Hetty Hutter (Scene from the Deerslayer)
1800s Steel Engraving

Here is the water burial of Hetty Hutter in a boat in a vast wilderness. The scene is from James Fennimore Cooper's deathless, unreadable novel. The print is in excellent condition with no discoloration or other damage. It is on heavy paper, and is blank on the reverse. The margins are bigger than shown here, the print being about 10 inches by 6-1/2 inches; the image area is 5-1/2 inches by 3-1/2 inches. There are four pinholes near the edge, well away from the image area, where it was stitched into the original volume. Your satisfaction is guaranteed.
