This is a photogravure lavishes on the details of the Flemish studio of the great portrait painter. The king studies a painting of three girls and a dog; meanwhile careful examination can discover all four subjects can be found in the room. The artist of this photogravure obviously had a great interest in the costumes and interior furnishings of the day. The print is in excellent condition with no discoloration or other damage. The ink is a beautiful brownish black. It is on heavy paper, and is blank on the reverse. The plate impression is clearly visible.
