Count Egmont
c. 1880 Steel Engraving

The dapper Count is shown wearing clothes of an elegance that is all but forgotten today. He is apparently intenly listening to someone. His lace and jewels and satin are positively luminous. Every hair of his perfectly-curved mustache is visible. This print is an example of a high point of the steel-engraver's art. The print is in excellent condition with no discoloration or other damage. It is on heavy paper, and is blank on the reverse. The margins are bigger than shown here, the print being 9 inches by 6-1/2 inches; the image area is 6-1/2 inches by 5 inches. Your satisfaction is guaranteed.
