Culloden Moor
19th Century Steel Engraving
This print dramatically shows what a moor is like, with its stormy sky and windswept heather. This is Culloden Moor, scene of the famous battle. Now goats graze and a man rides horseback beyond. The print is in excellent condition with no discoloration or other damage. It is on heavy paper, and is blank on the reverse. The margins are bigger than shown here, the print being about 8-1/2 inches by 5-1/2 inches; the image area is 5-1/2 inches by 3-3/4 inches. There are four pinholes near the edge, well away from the image area, where it was stitched into the original volume. Your satisfaction is guaranteed.
