Charming Mid-19th Century Engraving
This steel engraving depicts a mother and and daughter at their evening prayers. Through the open window beyond, a single star glows. The print is in excellent condition with no foxing anywhere. An extremely pale gray stain exists on the lower left margin, and there is a tear in the right margin of less than 1/2 inch; neither intrudes on the image, and would disappear under a mat. The print is on medium-weight paper, and is blank on the reverse. The print is 9-1/4 inches by 5-3/4 inches; the image area is 6-1/2 inches by 5 inches. Your satisfaction is guaranteed.
