Men Poling Ferryboat with Horses, Fisherwoman
1830s Steel Engraving

A woman goes about her work with basket-like fish traps. Further upstream, men struggle to pole their horses across the river. The sun sets in the background. This fascinating print is in good condition with no discoloration or other damage. It is on heavy paper, and is blank on the reverse. The plate impression is clearly visible. The margins are bigger than shown here, the print being about 8 inches by 5 inches; the image area is 6-1/2 inches by 4-1/2 inches. There are four pinholes at the very edge of the image, where it was stitched into the original volume. Your satisfaction is guaranteed.
