This picture, from The Art Journal of May, 1875, shows the cavalier tenderly leading his promised wife by the hand. Following the betrothed are numerous friends and family. Descriptive material from the original 1875 publication will accompany the print. It is after a painting by Firmin-Gerard, and would make an excellent gift to an engaged couple. The print is in excellent condition with no discoloration or other damage. It is on heavy paper, with type on the reverse.
