A wonderful old steel engraving in a pose similar to Whistler's Mother. Mother is reading the Bible in this version. The print is in excellent condition, printed with a lovely dark green ink, with no discoloration. It is on heavy paper (lightly age toned), and is blank on the reverse. There is a tiny crimp/crease in the extreme lower left corner, very far from the image.The original tissue guard is intact. The margins are bigger than shown here, the print being 9 inches by 6-1/4 inches. Your satisfaction is guaranteed.
