1851 Steel Engraving
Coriolanus stands surrounded by classic marble buildings in this scene from Act 5, Scene 5 of Shakespeare's play. A few lines from the scene are engraved at the bottom. It was engraved by W. Bittlestone and was published by John Tallis & Co. of London. The print is in excellent condition with no discoloration (outside of normal age toning) or other damage. It is on heavy paper, and is blank on the reverse. The margins are bigger than shown here, the print being 11 inches by 7 inches; the image area (excluding the ornate engraved border) is 6 inches by 5 inches. Your satisfaction is guaranteed.
