North American Indians Shooting Deer by Moonlight
Dated 1890 Gebbie Photogravure

This photogravure shows a critical moment, as one hunter takes aim with his arrow and the others get ready to join him. It is a gorgeous nighttime scene, with the moonlight reflecting off the water and the deer silhouetted there. It is printed in a nice green-black ink, and is from an original by H.N. Cady. The print is in excellent condition with no discoloration, foxing, or other damage. The plate impression is clear. It is printed on high-quality, heavy paper, is very lightly age-toned, and is blank on the reverse. The margins are bigger than shown here, the print being 8 inches by 11-1/2 inches; the image area is 9 inches by 6 inches. Your satisfaction is guaranteed.
