A young man and woman in very high Victorian garb share a psalm book. The detail is stunning, right down to the frills on her bonnet and his brass buttons, and the picture is printed with diamond-sharp precision. This skillfully-executed wood engraving is from a painting by Emma Squire. The print is in excellent condition with no discoloration or other damage. It is on medium-weight paper, and is blank on the reverse. The margins are bigger than shown here, the print being 9-1/2 inches by 6-1/2 inches; the image area is 7-1/2 inches by 5-1/4 inches.
